Speedplay Stainless Carbon Sole Wear Plate: Keeps pedal body from wearing into carbon sole. For 4-Hole carbon sole mounts. Kit includes a pair of shims. These plates where originally developed for four bolt fixing shoes, such as the Lake CX401. But recently many Pro athletes have been using these on three bolt shoes to reduce the wear between the plastic base plate and the four bolt engagement part of the cleat.
